"According to relevant records, the word Shuangxi was created by Wang Anshi in the Northern Song Dynasty. It's said that when it came to Beijing for the exam, it met with a horse member's outside family to recruit a son-in-law. Anyone who could get out of the "go on the horse light, go on the horse light, turn off the horse light and stop walking" couplet could be recruited as a son-in-law. Wang Anshi wrote down the questions and hurried to the examination. He successfully entered the palace examination all the way. Unexpectedly, the Emperor himself asked for the couplet "Flying Tiger flag, flying tiger flag, hiding tiger flag roll". Wang Anshi was very happy and hurried out of "Walking Horse light, walking horse light, stopping horse light out" to get high school. When the gold list was inscribed, there was another wedding night. Wang Anshi laughed at his double happiness. With a flick of his pen, the two happiness characters were tied together. After that, it became a folk custom to post the double happiness characters at wedding events.

In the Qing Dynasty, blue and white porcelain dominated, serving the royal family, popularizing among the people and spreading all over the world.

The blue and white "happy" pot, commonly known as "happy pot", also has the theory of "double happiness" pot, as the name implies, is a symbol of auspiciousness and festivity. In ancient times, wedding jars were made to hold wedding sweets, which added auspicious color to the wedding ceremony. Today, the family home of the rich family can still be seen. "Xizi jar" originated in Yuan Dynasty and prevailed in Ming and Qing Dynasty. The Qing Dynasty blue and white Xizi pot was a very typical utensil at that time. Only when people were married, they would specially make double "Zhuo" pots to express their happiness. Generally, they would not be fired in batches like other porcelain. Because it contains ancient culture, rich festive atmosphere, can be placed at home to watch, has the meaning of family happiness.

The Qing Dynasty blue and white Xizi jar was indeed a very typical utensil at that time. Although it belongs to the folk kiln, it is not easy to keep it completely. There are three reasons: first, the ancients only made the custom-made Xizi jar in the wedding period, because it is a meaningful utensil, not as many as the general dishes and porcelain plates. Secondly, Xizi pots are usually in pairs, so it is impossible to be treasured like official kilns, and it is hard to avoid being broken.
