老师，您是辛勤的园丁

Masters, you are industrious gardeners

您的辛勤耕耘

Your hard work

让祖国山川添秀色

Adds beauty to the mountains and rivers of our motherland

让神州大地尽芳菲

Letting the Divine Land be full of fragrance of flowers and plants

老师，您那赤诚的爱

Masters, your sincere love

唤醒了多少迷惘

Has awakened so much confusion

哺育了多少自信

Nurtured so much self-confidence

点燃了多少青春

Ignited so much youth

催发了多少征帆

Sent out so many sails

鹤发银丝映日月

Silvery hair sets off against the sun and the moon

丹心热血沃新花

Loyalty with passionate blood irrigates new flowers

Rivers push us into the boundless ocean

曙光给我们带来明媚的早晨

First light of dawn brings us a bright morning

敬爱的老师

Our beloved masters

您把我们引向壮丽的人生

You lead us to a magnificent life

有您的爱心灌浇

Where there’s your watering with love

才有桃李绚丽金谷飘香

There’re gorgeous flowers and golden grains

您用甘甜的雨露滋润

You moisturise us with sweet rain and dew

我们的心田才绿草如茵

So that we can grow up luxuriously

岁月在您的身上

Years in your body

镌刻下苍老的年轮

Have engraved with old annual rings

您的身旁却崛起了

But around you

一片森林郁郁葱葱

Rises a lush and large forest

在教师节来临之际

On the occasion of Teachers' Day

纵使用满天彩霞谱写颂歌

Even if I write odes with rosy clouds all over the sky

用遍地鲜花编织诗章

And weave poems with all flowers

也表不尽我的感恩之心
