1、美国化学会American Chemical Society于2019年11月7日任命Teri W. Odom教授为Nano Letters的新主编。该期刊以纳米科学和纳米技术的理论和实践的所有分支为基础研究。
Odom教授是西北大学化学系主任以及材料科学与工程学教授。自2013年以来，她一直担任ACS Photonics的执行编辑，自2010年以来一直担任Nano Letters的编辑顾问委员会的成员。她目前担任ACS Nano, Bioconjugate Chemistry, Materials Horizons and Annual Reviews of Physical Chemistry 的编辑顾问委员会的成员。
Odom教授说：“I am excited to build on Nano Letters and to work with the international community to position this communications journal as the go-to place for rapid publication of groundbreaking results,” says Odom. “Nanoscience is a distinct discipline — the convergence of chemistry, physics, biology, materials science, optics and engineering — that can uniquely address complex problems. I envision that Nano Letters will continue to highlight fundamental and translational nanoscience that will contribute to solving pressing problems in society and the environment.”
Nano Letters创刊于2001年，月刊，为作者提供完整的混合开放获取选项。
2、美国化学会于2019年12月2日任命Gilbert Walker博士为Langmuir期刊的新主编。Walker博士的任期将于2020年1月开始，并将在赫尔辛基大学的Françoise Winnik博士退休后开始。
Walker博士是多伦多大学化学系的杰出教授。
Walker博士说:“I’m thrilled to be taking up the duties of editor-in-chief for Langmuir. We want to report the most important breakthroughs for materials in which the interface dominates structure and function, and follow up with key resulting applications.”
Langmuir 期刊专注于系统和材料科学的世界顶级杂志。
3、美国化学会于2019年12月3日任命Hongwei Wu为Energy & Fuels新主编。Wu教授自2008年起就担任Energy & Fuels 的副主编，他将于2020年1月开始接任Michael T. Klein教授担任新主编。
Wu教授是澳大利亚科廷大学（Curtin University）矿业学院：矿产，能源和化学工程（Western Australian School of Mines: Minerals， Energy and Chemical Engineering）学科的负责人。他还在华中科技大学，中国科学院过程工程研究所（Institute of Process Engineering at the Chinese Academy of Sciences）和CNRS: Laboratorie Procédés Matériaux et Énergie Solaire实验室等机构担任客座教授或国际专家。
Wu教授说 “I’m very excited and honored to have the privilege to serve as the new editor-in-chief of Energy & Fuels. The field of fuels and energy is rapidly growing and going through significant transition. My vision for Energy & Fuels is to implement a set of integrated strategies to seize the opportunity for raising the journal to the next level in this exploding but interdisciplinary research field, building on and extending the existing strengths of the journal. Energy & Fuels will be focused on publishing original research that leads to the discovery of new transformable knowledge and/or advances in technologies of lasting significance.”
成立于1987年的Energy & Fuels 已成为化学和化学工程学科与能源和燃料应用领域的交汇处的顶级期刊。
