You won’t know what heaven is until you get to the Heavenly Mountains
Not until you get to Kanas
Will you know what beauty and mystery are
而只有到了禾木你才知道
这人世间哪里才是最美的村
And only when you get to Hemu, will you know
Where is the most beautiful village in the world

不只是天蓝水净
不只是空气清新
不只是群鸟自由腾跃翱翔
靓煞了你惊愕的眼睛
It's not just the blue sky and clean water
it's not just the refreshing air
It's not just the birds soaring freely
That fills your eyes with amazement

做神仙的感觉
是仰视雪山在顶
The feeling of being an immortal
Is to look up at the top of the snowcapped mountain
做旅行者的感觉是凝视
雪山下青青草地牛羊成群
The feeling of being a traveler is to stare at
Herds of cattle and sheep in the green meadow under the snowcapped mountains
而爱情浪漫迤逦而来
是赏视一段青春的情节
是环抱村子的高高的白桦林
And that romantically love comes meandering
Is admiration for the plot of a period of youth
And the tall birch forest surrounding the village
二）在禾木河上做一个思想者
Being a Thinker on the Hemu River
精致温润的底色，清且涟漪
禾木河，你的冰清玉冷
Your exquisite and soft background, your clear water and ripples
The Hemu River, your ice-like clearness and jade-like coolness
你的从容吐纳你的自由奔放
你的轻盈舒展和浅唱低吟
Your leisure of spitting and acceptance and your freedom of flowing
Your light stretching,low singing and whispering
像苏尔吹奏的长长的
来自土地的声音
All those are like very long sound
From the earth played by suer (flute)

千万年来赐予你永恒的生命
You love this mountain where the ice and snow will never melt
It has given you eternal life for thousands of years
阳光下你时蓝时绿时青
岁月悠悠，星移斗转
In the sun you are sometimes blue, sometimes green and sometimes dark
With the passage of time, all things keep changing
你深情地养育着
成吉思汗的坚守土地的子民
You have affectionately been nurturing
Genghis Khan's people who stick to the land

站在禾木桥上看浪花欢跳
看两岸河床各色石头圆圆滚滚
Standing on the Hemu River Bridge and watching the waves dancing
I can see all kinds of round stones on the riverbeds
看牧马人一骑红尘
潇洒穿过白桦林
I can see horse herders on horseback in the dust
Galloping chicly through the birch forest
我惊叹，禾木二字
是人与自然最完美的交融
I marvel that the two words “Hemu Village”
Are the perfect blend of man and nature
